My client is looking for a Bilingual Export Customer Service Professional to join their busy operation. French, German or Dutch. The Role: Provide both internal and external sales support, and process customer orders from the point of forecast to despatch / invoicing in order to meet agreed service levels. Close liaison with Plants, Supply Chain, and Quality Departments to ensure goods are ready on time is essential. Exporting is a major part of the role. Duties: Support sales team by carrying out a range of customer service activities e.g. resolving customer queries, record and action activities resulting from customer feedbacks, provide product literature, and communicate product availability, maintain customer master data and price lists. Calculate rebates and commissions. Provide quotations. Monitor and update short-term forecasts for clearly defined customer group, to support sales and ensure accuracy of data for material planning purposes. Carry out order entry, order processing, dispatches, and invoicing under clearly defined site policies and procedures using the sites SAP system. Actively support new initiatives to simplify the order processing stages. Arrange domestic deliveries of product with approved freight service providers, book airfreight, seafreight and pan-European shipments. Be aware of VMI, consignment stock and other special delivery arrangements. Maintain accuracy of customer master data and order processing transactions in the sales & distribution module of SAP. Work cohesively with the logistics team to achieve agreed consistent levels of customer service by focusing on specific KPIs e.g. OTIF, and speed of resolving customer complaints. This includes following and notifying changes to the daily production plans and often working under product shortages. Provide cover and support for the logistics team in appropriate areas of customer service.
