Our client based in Adlington, Cheshire are a niche publishing house specialising in the arts and crafts sector. They are currently looking for a Digital Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. The main focus of your role will be to develop advertising on the companies webiste. You will be solely responsible for this so this is a great opportunity for the right person to start an exciting and rewarding role.
This is an ideal opportunity for those with online media sales experience currently seeking a new challenge within the Cheshire / South Manchester area. The company is a market leader and operates in a sector where aggressive selling isnt appropriate, as such it is ideal for those wishing to sell in a specialist industry in which the focus is on rapport building and ongoing client management.
An experienced digital Sales Executive is required to develop their magazine consumer website. The role of the successful candidate will be to drive revenue in the form of advertising, sponsorship and marketing opportunities. The candidate will need to demonstrate good entrepreneurial skills, be a self starter, have a background in online sales and must be target driven. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to build their own platform and maintain complete control of all online commercial activity.
A full cycle sales role, the successful applicant will be given a number of existing accounts to manage and develop to full potential from day one whilst also proactively establishing new business relationships and sourcing leads at every opportunity. Clients will be manufacturers, distributors and retailers within the craft industry.
The person:
All applicants must match the following criteria to be considered:
* Previous experience of online advertising sales within a targeted team environment (this is essential)
* Excellent rapport building and account management skills alongside the ability to source and develop new business opportunities via cold calling
* Must be a strong team player capable of working to both individual and team targets within a close knit sales team environment
* Requires a strong work ethic, must be naturally reliable, driven, hard working, punctual etc
* Online advertising sales would be an advantage but not essential.
