To sell and give advice on an approved range of products and associated products and services, and introduce Life Business, to achieve sales and production targets.
To lead an Agency through the use of appropriate business strategies.
Carry out duties of an Agent in accordance with the Training & Competence (T&C) scheme competently and professionally

Ensure that all members of their agency team comply with, internal and external regulatory requirements and are competent in accordance with the T & C scheme.

Summary of main activities:
Sales
Research potential for new business, and initiate sales campaigns.
Undertake new business sales calls, and existing business review calls.
Provide Life Leads to Financial Consultants.

Management
To lead their team to achieve business objectives of the agency.
Produce and maintain an effective business plan, sales plan and to maintain all necessary financials to run an effective and viable agency.
Ensure that the Agency operates smoothly on a day to day basis and provides customers with the highest level of service.
Provide support and guidance to the people employed within the office so that they help the business grow.

Competencies:
To gain and maintain competence in accordance with T & C scheme.
Maintain your status as an FSA Approved Person status.
Maintain the financial integrity of the business by operating in an efficient manner.

Professional Qualification Requirements:
Minimum – 5 GCSE’s including Maths & English at grade C
Minimum – 2 or more A-Levels or equivalent qualifications
