• What’s involved:
1. To expand the number of employers and other organisations offering suitable work placements to borough schools, especially for the months of June and July, 2010.
2. To secure sufficient work placements, drawn from a combination of both new and current providers, such that each school is offered a minimum number of appropriate placements that equates to 70% of the cohort
3. To increase the number of employers and other organisations that will actively support relevant work related learning ‘events’ (such as mock interviews and business simulations) in Halton schools for the rest of this academic year.
4. To secure sufficient employee volunteers / ambassadors, drawn from a combination of both new and current providers, such that ‘school events’ are supported to at least the minimum level defined in the Events calendar.
5. To log all offers of partner support on the EBP database in order that Halton EBP can provide an enhanced brokerage and support service for all its programmes (including the new specialist diplomas).
