The client:
• A market leading business services company in the North West is looking for a Senior Credit Control clerk to join their team.

Finance responsibilities:
• Responsible for all aspects of credit control (trade, commercial and consumer)
• High volume telephone, letter and email chasing of debt
• Worked to strict targets daily regarding calls and debt retrieved
• Regularly collected on average £100k per call
• Responsible for setting up direct debits
• Set up new accounts and payment plans on the system
• Responsible for invoicing and billing
• Created and manipulated Excel spreadsheets
• Developed effective relationships with large Blue Chip clients
• Regular liaison with other departments such as billings and accounts payable
• General administration including faxing, filing and photocopying
• Various ad-hoc duties as requested by Credit Manager

You will have:
• Strong previous credit control experience
• Ideally dealt with foreign currencies
• Be IT literate with excellent PC skills in Microsoft Excel
• The ability to work under your initiative and also as part of a team
• A self motivated and professional attitude
